NHS Advice on Coronavirus

The current risk of coronavirus to the UK public has be classified as 'moderate'. Their advice is that if you have arrived from an affected country within the last 14 days, have cough/ fever, to please stay home and avoid contact with other people. They ask that you call NHS 111 to inform them of your travel and to NOT attend the surgery.

We at the centre will continue to follow the advice of PHE and the Department of Health and Social Care. The information is being updated daily by 2pm.

We would like to reassure you that we are taking all the necessary precautions to safeguard our team and Service users and are monitoring those who return from abroad.

Information gleaned from this guidance will help underpin our relevant procedures as we aim to provide support to our Service users through the prevention of infection of viruses and bacterial infections. If a Service user or Team member does appear unwell we will implement our procedures for unwell individuals and exclude those who have certain contagious illnesses to help prevent the spread the contagion and protect others from becoming infected.
