About The Centre
At the Diem Centre we provide Activities and Support for Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and various mental health Needs.
Supporting each individual with a friendly, caring and professional team working with the individual to enable them to develop new skills for independent living, promoting social inclusion and Person Centred Support.
We provide support to Adults from the age of 18 y/o at the centre with our opening hours being 10am - 3.30/4pm Monday to Friday.
We Support each of our service users to develop an activity plan based around their interests and hobbies and catering to their various Diagnoses while ensuring they are at the heart or each plan made.
We recognise and support each and every one of our service users to be flexible and manage their own unique views on what they find interesting and FUN.
Whether is learning to cook in our life skills session to accessing the Gym, there is defiantly an activity we can support you with.
We provide a wide range of activities within the centre as well as opportunities to access various activities in and around the local community. All this with the support of our lovely, experienced and committed team who want nothing more than to see smiles on all our service users faces.
Our activities staff are committed to organising a mix of activities and events for our service users and the local community to get involved in, including trips out to local places of interest in our minibus . It is important to us that each individual who we support can get as much from these as they can, so we try our best to arrange activities that reflect their interests and capabilities as best as possible, and encourage them to participate in any way they can. We also encourage relatives to visit and join in with activities and events as often as they can and where appropriate.
